For all 6th-8th Graders only.
JCADA’s Thrive program is an experiential workshop for Jewish students in Jewish organizations, schools, youth groups or camps. The Thrive program is designed for three age groups; Middle School (6-8th grade), Early High School (9&10th grade), and High School (11&12th grade). Each grade level program consists of two 90-minute workshops, one intended to be presented in the fall and one in the spring. The first workshop focuses on awareness and education, while the second workshop aims to teach student concrete prevention skills, such as consent and self-care.
Thrive: Middle School curriculum is designed to introduce middle school students to concepts surrounding healthy and unhealthy relationships, including friendships and family dynamics. This program also helps students begin to identify trusted adults, and to help students learn skills for building boundaries and consent.
