We invite all families in the Shaare Torah community with children 5 and under to join us on the first night of Hanukkah for a special celebration to kick off the festival! During the first hour 4-5pm, we will have activity stations, including arts & crafts, movement/music, a game, and latkes with applesauce and sour cream and sufganiyot (donuts). We will be selling raffle tickets to benefit STECC/STK. At 5pm, we will have our raffle prize drawings and announce the winners (you do not need to be present to win). We will then move outside to the lawn for Hanukkah songs, a hot cocoa bar, hot cider bar, and more sufganiyot (donuts). At 5:30pm, we will chant the Hanukkah blessings and light the electric menorah on the lawn. As you leave, please take a box of Hanukkah candles and a bag of chocolate gelt.
